For this four-part landmark 9pm documentary series, we obtained recently declassified documents highlighting some of the pivotal moments in 20th-century Royal history. I directed two of the four films; the first examined the Queen's relationship with some of her Prime Ministers (Churchill, Wilson, Thatcher & Blair) to reveal how the relationship dynamics have changed over her reign. The second episode examined the Queen's conflict between being the Head of State and being a wife, mother, sister and grandmother. Both films were almost entirely self-shot during the lockdown.
